Dr.Chaffin is a Board- certified Radiologist. He graduated Tennessee Technological University with a B.S in Science Medicine. Dr. Chaffin is a member of American College of Radiology, Radiological Societyof North America, Society of Breast Imaging, and Tennessee Radiological Society, where he also wasan Alternate Councilor ACR from 1990-1992 and 2010-2011. Dr. Chaffin has received AMA Physicians Recognition Awards 1978-2007, With Commendation 2007-2010. He also received American College of Radiology Mammography Accreditation (film-screen and digital) 1991-2009. Dr. Chaffin also received anaward for Chattanooga Area AA Soccer Coach of the Year (State Champions) 1986
